  • Have Your Say: Draft Standards Guidance
    In May 2018 we're running an online consultation seeking public feedback on guidance material for the new single set of quality standards (Aged Care Quality Standards). The draft guidance material will be online for four weeks from 3-31 May 2018. We will use the feedback to help inform the final versions of the guidance  material.   • Unannounced reaccreditation audits
    From 1 July 2018, the Quality Agency will conduct unannounced re-accreditation audits to replace announced re-accreditation audits in residential aged care services. The change will affect all residential aged care services applying for re-accreditation, and all residential aged care services with an accreditation expiry date on or after 1 January 2019.   • Webinar: Quality Reform update

  • New report focuses on resident experience in aged care. 18 August 2017 

  • New Consumer Experience Reports
    From 30 June 2017, the Quality Agency has introduced a new report, the Consumers’ Experience of the Quality of Care and Services: Aged Care Homes (Consumer Experience Report). The consumer experience reports are published alongside the audit reports, currently published on our website following re-accreditation audits of aged care homes. Find out more here.
